Welcome to The Noble Quest, where you play as a young cube on an adventure! Your job is... actually, you're not really sure what your job is, as you weren't paying attention to the instructions during the cutscene. But now you've been given a sword and your mentor has noped off to who-knows-where, so you just have to find out what in the world you're meant to do.

Left = ????                Right = ????                 Jump = ????                 Attack = ????           Enter = ????

I'm sure you'll figure it out.

(Coded on Scratch. Made for the No Words Jam. Contains two secret endings and one true ending.)

Interesting game a bit confusing. Controls mapping are horrible but why not.

i killed the birdt on my first run and were shoked when the red eyed guy came. R.I.P bird

Why does everyone kill the bird, I ask myself who made an ending where you can kill an innocent bird /lighthearted. Agreed, RIP that one poor bird.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking about, sorry. Could you please specify what you mean?

Ok, thank you. I designed it to be a bit unusual so I'm glad you like it.

Got stuck on the part with the yellow & blue triangles. I know the yellow one (a spike?) kills me while the blue one does nothing, but going to the right does nothing. There is also an invisible block near the right of the floating platform in the same room. What am I missing? Also...

Spoilers ahead!

... from what I gathered, the game's controls are dictated by the letter the action starts with. A for Attack, R for Right, J for Jump, and L for Left. I think the key to Enter is either E or - well, enter.

EDIT: It's E to Enter.

Great job on figuring out the controls! Unfortunately, I can't seem to replicate the glitch you've experienced with the spikes in my coding platform or on this version. I'm really sorry that you've run into this issue and I hope to find out what is causing this soon. Thank you for playing and I hope that you will be able to see the full game once this has been resolved.

Ok, so, I got the bug again. Only this time, it's after the cliff I had to jump over!

The second spikes? Ok, this is really weird then, because I've run the program through several times and honestly am unable to tell how to fix what you are experiencing. I think it may be a problem with the placing of the sprite I coded to allow you to continue. I could try see if I could rewrite the code to fix it. It might take a bit, but there's still time before the jam ends to I'll get to work on it as soon as possible!

No, not the second spikes, the first pit jump.

Ok, I think I can still figure out what might be the issue. I'll upload the new version whenever it's done and I hope that'll make things work better

Ok, I think I fixed what was causing the problem. Hope you enjoy and please tell me if you experience any other difficulties :D
